At BBAN we LOVEEE!! having what we call 'our little munchkins' come in to do their hair! We have special treats and tricks to make sure your child is happy and comfortable with reading books, coloring books, snacks and of course Netflix Kids and YouTube will be on TV to make sure they are distracted during the process. Feel free to also bring along your own tablet too.
Be sure to book all services required. If you would like us to undo your little ones hair before redoing it please book this as an additional service.
A wash, condition and blowdry service is also available but must be pre-booked as an additional service.
No need to apply any products or oils on your child's hair before your appointment. We we will have that covered as well as a full blowdry before braiding. Please note applying any products could make the braiding process difficult for the stylist. as this can make the hair slippery and hard to grip. We are happy to add oils and lotions during or after the braiding process.
Please note there will be an additional charge for detangling knots or matted hair.
We can only allow ONE parent or carer to accompany a child during their service, Unfortunately we do not have space for extra bodies.
We have Xpression hair available to purchase at the salon for £3.99 a pack. We are currently stocking ALL base natural colors and also have some exciting ombre colors and pastel colors for our color bunnies!

Box Braids
You can never go wrong with these adorable Kids Box Braids. With a clean scalp and tangle free hair, after installing - these braids can last up to 8 weeks! A hair holiday parents always look forward to.

There is a wide range of designs we can provide and are happy for you to bring your ideas for us to bring to reality as best as possible.
Kids are experimental and this is what makes cornrows and extensions more exciting as it comes with so much versatility when styling.

Hair Removal
Sometimes undoing your hair can be a chore in itself, so we are able to provide a removal, wash, condition and blowdry service ready for you to have your hair redone or if it's ready to be removed.
We advise you give your little ones hair at least 5-7 days break in between hairstyles. You can redo your hair once it is undone the same day but we do not recommend this is done consecutively more than 3 times and depending on the desired style.
Knotless Braids
Knotless braids are the new braiding phenomenon and are available for kids also!
Weightless, less tension without the knot and much easier to style instantly after installation. Starting off with natural hair and gradually adding small pieces of braiding hair, a knotless braid is created. This style of braiding can last up to 3-4 weeks for kids as required more maintenance than original Box Braids.
Natural Hair Services
Natural services range from protective hairstyles using only the natural hair with advice, tips and tricks on maintaining, looking after and caring for your little ones hair.
Caucasion Type Hair
Most hairstyles are achievable with Caucasian. The texture is usually very fine and the only factor that it is a little more difficult to not only capture but keep in.
Style natural hair or add in extensions for colour or volume to make it a little funkier!
